The tri-national EU Project “Respect Works Out!” is happy to announce the launch of their internet portal on the right of the child to a non-violent upbringing:

http://www.respectworks.eu - towards a Europe of Zero Tolerance of Smacking!

The Portal provides information on the project and on the themes of positive parenting and equal protection in Europe more widely, encourages new partnerships through facilitating the exchange of know-how and successful practice in the field of positive parenting, and is fresh, fun to use and accessible for everybody (barrier-free).

 

 



Honoured for life achievement in the field of promoting children`s rights

In 2007. our president Mrs. Blanka Šegović was honoured by the Government of Republic Croatia for Life achievement in the field of promoting children`s rights.
In 2006. a member of our association prof.dr. Dubravka Maleš was also honoured for Life achievement in the field of promoting children`s rights.



We are all invited to help children
In March 2008. in magazine "Zrno" an interview was published with our president Mrs. Blanka Šegović, on the occasion of being honoured for Life achievement in the field of promoting children`s rights.



Together for the well being of the child
In March 2008. in magazine "Zrno" an article was published by our leader of Centre for Children and Family, Mrs. Lidija Rezić. The article is about experiences of partnership projects implementation with Centre for Social Welfare Dubrava-Zagreb.

Honoured for life achievement on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of UNICEF

On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of UNICEF, our President, Mrs. Blanka Šegović, was honoured for her life achievement with the title: Friend of Generations of Children.



Conference of Preschool Teachers of Istarska and Primorsko - Goranska Counties

In May 2007, at the Conference of Preschool Teachers of Istarska and Primorsko –Goranska Counties, around 150 preschool teachers participated in a presentation on achievements that our organisation accomplished in practical applicability of The Box full of feeling (didactical equipment) in work with preschool children. The presentation was carried out by Ms. Lidija Rezić B.A in psychology, the Leader of the Centre for Children and Family, Children First.
